Blue Period
Blue Period is a series of studio portraits that uses the visual language of fashion not to affirm identity, but to dissolve it. Immersed in cold blue tones, echoing Pablo Picasso’s Blue Period, the photographs portray figures whose beauty is not solution for emotional problems. The women in these portraits do not seduce or present themselves; their gaze turns inward, suggesting a state of distance and interior emptiness. The series reflects on the paradox of contemporary aesthetics as shortcut through hardship.
