1. Scope of Practice
Umami Atelier operates as a fine art photography studio and educational space.
All services offered — including Fine Art Portraits, Workshops, and Master Classes — are conceived as authorial practices grounded in craft, responsibility, and discretion.
Availability and Selection
All sessions, workshops, and programs are subject to availability.
Umami Atelier reserves the right to limit participation, select participants, or decline requests when necessary to preserve the integrity of the work.
Reservations and Confirmation
Participation is confirmed only after written confirmation and, where applicable, completed payment.
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability.
Payments
Payment terms are communicated individually after confirmation.
Fine Art Portraits and one-day sessions are paid in full. Sessions may also be prepaid by a gift voucher.
Long-format programs, such as the Fine Art Workshop, are paid on a monthly basis.
All payments are handled via bank transfer unless stated otherwise.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be communicated in advance. A session missed without notice is considered used.
Due to the limited and carefully structured nature of the work:
Payments are non-refundable once a session or program has begun.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and handled on a case-by-case basis.
Gift Vouchers
A gift voucher entitles the person named on it to one Fine Art Portrait session.
Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue. The expiry date is printed on the voucher. Expired vouchers are not extended, exchanged, or refunded.
To book, the holder writes to kontakt@ivanmijatovic.rs quoting the code printed on the voucher. Dates are subject to availability under section 2.
A voucher is issued to a named person and is not transferable unless agreed in writing before booking.
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. One voucher covers one session in full, and nothing further is due.
Cancellations and rescheduling of a session booked with a voucher follow section 5.
If a voucher is lost, it can be reissued once the purchase is verified in the atelier's records.
Nature of the Work
Fine Art Portraits are conceived as authorial works.
Each session is directed toward one bespoke portrait, and up to twelve finished digital portraits are delivered as a selection that completes the work.
The final selection is made by the artist.
Workshops and Master Classes are educational in nature and focus on artistic development rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Intellectual Property
All photographs and educational materials remain the intellectual property of Umami Atelier unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Fine Art Portraits are intended for personal use only.
Any reproduction, publication, or commercial use requires prior written consent.
Privacy and Discretion
All sessions and communications are treated with discretion.
Images are never published or shared without explicit permission.
Changes to Terms
Umami Atelier reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
The current version is always available on the website.
