Ivan Mijatović is a Belgrade-based visual artist and photographer born in 1985. His work explores the emotional states of contemporary life through portraiture and urban landscape, loneliness, emotional distance, and the fragmented nature of the inner self.
He approaches photography intuitively, recording everyday scenes as a means of reflecting deeper emotional and psychological realities. Selected projects include Inner Constellations, Empty, Blue Period, Essay, and Post-Covid Japan.
Ivan founded Umami Atelier as a space where photography is treated as both craft and responsibility, a place for those who think in images and want to learn to use that language with intention.
